OUR STORY
GRASSBURGER was born to change the great AMERICAN experience of eating a burger and making it BETTER - for you, the animals and the planet!
As a family with food allergies and desire to eat sustainably, we struggled finding a place to go out for burgers that we felt good about. We had never run a restaurant, but we knew what we wanted: 100% USA grass-fed beef raised sustainably and humanely, vegan burgers made from whole foods like quinoa and black beans; simple clean food that works for everyone, tastes incredible and makes an impact!
WHY GRASS-FED?
Our GRASS-FED cattle live a happy and active life on a 100% forage diet (as nature intended), continually rotating to fresh pastures free of herbicides, pesticides and artificial fertilizers. Our GRASS-FED cattle are never held in confinement, fed antibiotics, given synthetic growth hormones and are humanely certified. GRASS-FED beef is one of the healthiest protein sources on the planet, a rich source of Omega 3, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, CLA, B12, Zinc, Iron & Beta Carotene!
SMALL FOOTPRINT, BIG IMPACT…
From the beginning, we’ve used only recycled and biodegradable packaging. We limit our footprint with regional beef sourcing and participation in a biofuel program. Our used fry oil is collected & converted to power vehicles (green power!) on the military base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We feel pretty pumped to fuel with fries!
